If you remember, about a month ago, Elle climbed up the stairs all by herself. Yesterday, she did it again but this time, she she climbed down all be herself! I just got done preparing our breakfast so I was sitting on the kitchen table waiting for Elle and Daddy Jarbs to come down. When I looked up the stairs, I saw Elle in her diapers and was on the landing in the middle of the staircase! She took 4 steps down from the top of the stairs until she got to the landing. She has not mastered going down the stairs yet. I've been trying to teach her how to go down backwards but she's not a big fan. I have been slowly teaching her how to come down going forward. Every time, I point out that she NEEDS to hold on to the railing while going down the steps. Good thing I did because I knew something like this would happen! Like the first stairs incident, Elle was under Daddy Jarbs' watch when this happened. He was about to change her diaper but turned around to get her change of clothes. Little did he know Elle walked out of the room and started venturing down. Well, he forgot to shut the gate before he went to her room. Ahhhh...strike two, Daddy Jarbs!
