Play time..

Every evening, as soon as we get home from work, has been our play time with Baby Jarbs. We'll lay down on the bed, Daddy Jarbs will put his head against my belly and talk to Baby Jarbs. As if on command, she will start kicking and let her presence known! Or maybe she's annoyed that we're disturbing her? Haha. We can't wait to have our little pumpkin so we can play with her in person.

When we woke up this morning, Daddy Jarbs shook my belly in his attempt to wake up Baby Jarbs and feel her move. He put his head against my belly and before you know it, Baby Jarbs was kicking him! She probably got upset that she got disturbed from her sleep :-). She kicked her daddy several times. Both Daddy Jarbs and myself giggled with amusement after every kick. Do we have a soccer player in the making? Maybe she'll be playing for the women's World Cup one day :-).

Off to Cabo...

I am currently at the National airport, waiting for our flight. We're finally off to Cabo! Weee! I think Baby Jarbs is excited too. She's been kicking up a storm since her official debut and big show yesterday. Prior to yesterday, she would only get her presence known once or twice per day. Yesterday, she was kicking all day and night. 

The idea of us having a baby girl is slowly sinking in. All the grandmas and titas (aunts) are excited to buy her cute baby clothes. How can you resist buying those adorable clothes :-). Daddy Jarbs is now thinking of all the sports that he would want her to play.  Umm, I just hope that she gets Daddy Jarbs' sports skills not mine! :-)

I am not sure if I will be  able to update the blog regularly for the next few days. I'll TRY not to log online and just enjoy our alone time together. I'll TRY....

Whoops, flight boarding. Hasta la vista!

The fish is back...

and has been doing swimming laps inside my belly at 6 am!!! I was already half awake and laying on my left side when I felt the "fish" again. This time, there were 3 successive movements. It's as if Baby Jarbs was saying "wake up Mommy!". Umm, honey, it's still early! Mommy's not suppose to get up until 7 am!! lol. Nevertheless, it was a good start to my day :-).

There's a fish...

inside my belly :-).

I was sitting on the couch and working on my laptop when all of a sudden I felt like a small fish just swam inside my belly! I stopped and told Daddy Jarbs (who was sitting beside me) "I think I just felt the baby move!". A few days ago, I have felt weird pokes in my belly but I was not exactly sure if it was Baby Jarbs moving or just my uterus twitching. According to my baby books, baby's movements feel like a bubble or a fish swimming in your tummy. Well tonight, I felt the fish!! :-). Daddy Jarbs immediately put his hand on my tummy but the "fish" was gone :-(. I am looking forward to feeling more "fishes" inside my belly in the next few weeks. Swim baby swim!

Is Baby Jarbs kicking?

These past couple of days I've been experiencing weird twitches inside my tummy. Yesterday, while sitting in front of my computer at work, I felt like one twitch/tap after another (with about 3 second difference) for 5 times. It made me wonder, is that Baby Jarbs kicking? I don't know for sure what a kick feels like. According to my baby books, I should expect to feel baby kicks starting this week. I'll continue to observe and hopefully feel more kicks soon! Kick baby kick!
