Daddy Jarbs and I left work early one day last week so we can pick up Elle from day care and check out the cherry blossoms. We were lucky to visit during the first official day of spring when the weather was perfect and the cherry blossoms were at its peak! We ended up going to Haines Point to avoid the crowd around the Tidal Basin and it was perfect. We found street parking right away and we did not have to fight with the crowd.
We've always wanted to check out this park at Haines Point. Finally, Elle is big enough to play and appreciate the park. Of all the parks that we have been to, this was Elle's favorite. She was in her element, running around and going up and down the slide.
There was a pretty cool tunnel slide which Elle loved
Finally, Elle was able to try out her new trike!
It was a fun little outing for the Jarbs family. We plan to be back at this park and next time, will bring food so we can have our little family picnic!
