Elle is 7 months old!

I am always behind in posting photos from Elle's monthly birthday. Here they are. Seriously, time is going by fast. Before I know it, she'll be a year old!

Fun facts @ 7  months

* Very playful

* Has very strong legs and can stand on her own while holding on to something

* Has so far eaten rice cereal, banana, carrots and avocado. She likes them all. We've also given her a bite of rice puffs and mango.

* Reaches her arms out when she wants to be picked up

* Loves dancing to reggae music. We'd turn on the tv and put it on the reggae channel. Once the music is playing, she'd start smiling, shrieking and kicking her legs.

* Loves drinking water! She prefers drinking from a cup than a sippy cup

* Eats dinner in her high chair. She can also sit in the highchair when we go out in restaurants

* When she wakes up in the morning, we'll find her in a push up position and peeking above the crib bumper. Once she hears us walking into her room, we'll see her little head pop above the crib lol. Sometimes, we'd have to sneak in and hide from her.

* Loves to grab things. During diaper changes, as soon as we have her sit up on the changing table, she'll start grabbing things right away...the lotion, diapers, diaper cream, etc.

* Still goes to bed around 8 pm every night, wakes up around  6:30 - 7:00 am. For the past few days she has stopped waking and fussing at night and dropped her 5:30 am feeding! Yay, she's officially sleeping through the night. Another yay for Mommy & Daddy Jarbs sleeping through the night too :-).

* Naps 2-3x at daycare. She now naps in the crib at daycare vs the swing!

* Loves to play a lot. Her teachers at daycare say that she happily plays all day and is all smiles. Her daily report now includes "Cheerful".

* Babbles a lot. Daddy Jarbs said she's starting to sound like the twin babies in this video

* Opens and closes her hands when we hold her wrist and sing "close, open, close, open". We'd have to catch it on video once of these days.

* Now plays and splashes herself during bath time. She always tries to eat the suds too!

* Her favorite toys are still Sophie, the stacking cups and the number puzzle, teething toy, and her teething toothbush

* Gives Mommy & Daddy Jarbs kisses. It's the best feeling ever! It's amazing how she has learned to do this. Sometimes she gives kisses even if we don't ask her to. I'd also have to catch this on video one of these days.

* Has separation anxiety at times. She'd fuss when we leave the room and we are out of her sight

* Has two bottom teeth which came out during the same week

* Loves looking and smiling at herself in the mirror
