but still no baby! No signs of labor either. Baby Jarbs is testing our patience :-). We are so looking forward to meeting our little darling but we do not want to force it if my body and Baby Jarbs are not ready yet. She will come out when she is ready! Due dates are not 100% accurate anyway that is why they are called EDD = ESTIMATED due dates :-). A normal healthy pregnancy lasts until 42 weeks. I have read that overdue babies are normally advanced in their development and reach their milestones earlier. We'll see if there's any truth to that. Who knows, she may be waiting to come out on her daddy's birthday! Incidentally, my doctor wants to me come in on Friday (Daddy Jarbs' birthday) so they can do a non-stress test. They will monitor the baby's heart rate to make sure everything is okay. Interestingly, I do not feel that uncomfortable yet. My belly feels heavy (and I feel and look heavy!) but I can still walk around and do stuff with no problem. Sleep has also been great! The only thing that is bothering me is the tingling in my fingers (on my right hand) due to pregnancy-induced carpal tunnel syndrome. Other than that, I feel fine so I am thankful for that.
For now, the waiting game continues...
